Step 5: Remove the Bowl from the Lathe.
Once the finishing product has dried, it's time to remove the bowl from the lathe. To do this, turn off the lathe and remove the tailstock and drive spur. Then, carefully loosen the chuck and remove the bowl from the lathe. Use a saw or chisel to cut off the nub left by the drive spindle.
