The CNC panel saw with mother and daughter saws combines pre-cut bottom seams on the daughter saw with overall cutting by the mother saw, solving the problems of chipping, peeling, and tearing on both sides when cutting particleboard, melamine board, and multi-layer decorative panels. It is the mainstream industrial equipment for mass production of whole-house custom wardrobes, cabinets, and wooden door frames.
Core Structure and Working Principle:
- Sub-saw (smaller saw): With a smaller diameter, it is installed in front of and below the main saw. It rotates in the opposite direction, first cutting 1-2mm into the bottom of the board, pre-cutting the veneer and wood fibers on the bottom surface to prevent the main saw from pulling and tearing the back of the board.
- Main saw (large saw): It follows the trajectory of the sub-saw, cutting along the same kerf, directly and completely cutting through the entire board. Its rotation direction is opposite to that of the sub-saw, counteracting the cutting torque and preventing the board from warping or slipping.
- The CNC system automatically and precisely controls the lifting and lowering of both sets of saw blades, as well as their coaxiality, eliminating step-like defects caused by kerf misalignment, requiring minimal manual fine-tuning.
